The moment you walk in you can smell the food! Everything was cooked to order and nothing tasted frozen. This is by far the best burger I’ve tasted and you can’t beat the price! We tried the smash burger combo, onion rings, fries, chicken nuggets and boba. This will now be on my family’s rotation! The atmosphere is welcoming and upbeat . The tables all have facts about their menu items. There are even spots for photo ops! 100000/10 recommend

Stopped in on our way through the area and this place did not disappoint us at all. The service was friendly and fast and the food....omg....the food is amazing! They have huge portions (burgers and side) and everything was so hot and fresh! And let me just rave about that cheese sauce for the fries.....it was the perfect cheese sauce to remind me of the ballpark nachos id get when I was a kid.Hands down will recommend this place for sure and ill be back anytime im in the area again!

We had a triple smash burger, a gyros wrap, beef taco and mozzarella sticks among the three of us and each was excellent!!! The taco tasted like it came from a Mexican restaurant and the gyros from a Greek one with the meat cut off the cone in generous chunks 🤤. The smashburger disappeared so quickly. I didn't even get a chance to get a bite! And then, because it was their one year anniversary, we all got two scoops of ice cream for dessert on them!!Chicago pros is a new fave and 5 minutes from home- what more could you ask for?!

Really enjoyed the food here! We tried a little bit of everything, and I was honestly impressed with how good everything was. We had the beef burgers, hot dogs, birria tacos, fish and chips, shakes, and the mint mojito. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The birria tacos were especially good, and the burgers were juicy and full of flavor. The fish and chips were crispy and fresh, and the shakes and mint mojito were a perfect addition to the meal. It’s not always easy to find a place that does both American and Mexican food well, but this restaurant definitely delivered. Great variety, good portions, and most importantly, really tasty food. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu. Highly recommended!

Person that took my order was very kind well mannered and definitely knew how to take an order as for the people in the back that made my food. I grabbed the three taco dinner and those were some of the best tacos I’ve had around Hanover Park. they were really big. I was surprised the beans and rice were also delicious. They give you a salad and sauces. I mean for less than 20 bucks, I am completely content. Thank you so much. This is my new place to go to. I see they have a bunch of different items on the menu. I can’t wait to try. I can’t believe I walked in there and asked for tacos and I actually had some of the best tacos around thank you so much for fulfilling my night.

This is a hidden Zabiha Halal gem I CANNOT believe it isn't packed up. Our first visit, our family tried the cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburgers, chicken sandwhich, fries and onion rings... everything we tried was great. They have so many options for Mexican and American food. Serving sizes were generousThe art/atmosphere here is really cool too, great place to hang out/meet up with friends or have a family meal, lot of nice backgrounds to take pics with as well. Will definitely come back to try other meal items out soonIf someone is allergic to shrimp, they clean the grill daily and they fry shrimp (and I think fish) in a separate oil from the fried foods (always check/ask in case this info changes)... so see if they cooked shrimp that day to be sure if getting grilled item.

The food was great. The chicken Philly was great as usual. My only complaint today was towards the customer service. I order two milkshakes and noticed that they were thin. I mentioned this to the gentleman at the front counter and he said he would remake it IF I wanted him to do so instead of just offering to remake it just because it's the right thing to do. Instead of having him remake it, I chose to take it and just put them in the freezer to allow them to thicken. I do like most of the food there but customer service is what is most important to me. I would like to feel like my service and satisfaction matters to establishments that I spend my hard earned money.

Chicago Pro’s Restaurant is a nice place with a friendly atmosphere, and the food is tasty, but the burgers are a bit small for the price. The prices feel a little high, and asking for a tip on a takeout orders by turning the screen around feels kind of pushy and not really appropriate, especially when there’s no table service, and you’re just picking up food to go.

Unfortunately, I have to update my review. My first visit was great — the shrimp tacos had large shrimp and good flavor. However, on my recent visit I found a metal staple inside my food, which I almost swallowed. The shrimp were also completely different from before: tiny, cheap, and nothing like the first time. It’s disappointing to see the quality drop so quickly, as I mentioned last review that i hope they keep the same quality. And the safety issue is unacceptable.

Today I went to eat and ordered a bowl of rice with shrimp and some vegetables, I always ask for extra shrimp and it had never happened to me in any restaurant that found the shrimp without removing the intestines (I worked in a fish shop and I know when a shrimp is dirty and when not) I had to publish this because I talked to the owner and he gave me excuses that the shrimp come "disinfected" to which I told him that that was not going to give me security, I told him to return the money for the dish and that if I felt bad I would go to the doctor And I would take the fact that if this brings me some intoxication which he ignored and that he would not return anything to me.

How was it that this place was not packed when we was there? I was surprised over how delicious the food was. The nachos basket was massive and extremely delicious. There was zero skimping on anything with the nachos ingredients whatsoever. I got the Philly with steak my wife got the Philly with chicken. Both were extremely delicious. I also got a vanilla milkshake. It was so creamy and smooth, i loved it. The tables had cool facts about burgers, tacos, Phillys, and other foods.....really cool to read while eating and great conversation starters. This is a place we will return to 100%. If you're in the area you got to check out Chicago Pros Restaurant.

Question to the restaurant: what are the ingredients for the tacos? Shouldn't they usually come with sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes? I loved all the food that I have tried here. But the tacos came only with ground beef and cilantro, onions. I paid extra to add cheese, but I also was expecting letttuce and tomatoes.

It's also a beautiful restaurant inside and a great decor. You should try it and bring your friends and family.

I recently tried the enchiladas and a quesadilla here, and both were really good. The enchiladas had a lot of flavor and the sauce was perfect—not too spicy but still had a nice kick. The tortillas were soft and everything inside tasted fresh. The quesadilla was also great. It was crispy on the outside and packed with melted cheese and filling on the inside. You could tell it was made fresh, and it came out hot which made it even better. Overall, both dishes were really satisfying and I’d definitely order them again. Also, the customer service was amazing. The owner and staff are doing a fantastic job with customer satisfaction.

I walked into a very nicely decorated place, but unfortunately the service didn’t match the atmosphere. The staff made me feel like I was at the DMV—no greeting and it felt like I was an inconvenience for even being there.I ordered the birria tacos and they were extremely spicy. I can’t handle spicy food due to stomach problems, and nowhere on the menu did it mention that they were spicy. I also ordered the “loaded” meat and cheese fries, which were messy, soggy, and again very spicy with no warning on the menu.Overall, not the best experience.

I’m honestly surprised this place is even open. My husband and I decided to give it a try because the parking lot is always completely empty when we drive past (now I understand why). Unfortunately, the experience was just as disappointing as we feared.First off, the customer service was awful. When we walked in, there was zero greeting or acknowledgment. The boy working there looked absolutely miserable, like he hated being there, and it made the whole atmosphere feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. 😑The menu was also incredibly confusing. It’s all over the place—Mexican food, American food, ice cream, and boba? It felt like they just threw a bunch of random ideas together instead of focusing on doing one thing well.As for the food… not good. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was completely bland with almost no flavor. I ordered the birria tacos, and we shared the beef fries. Both were ridiculously spicy, and nowhere on the menu did it warn that they would be that hot. 🌶️ If I had known, I absolutely would not have ordered them. A simple note on the menu would have helped. The restaurant itself was just boring and uninviting, and the location doesn’t help either. The whole experience felt like a letdown from start to finish. 😒Nice try, I guess. Good luck to them, but we definitely won’t be coming back.

This used to be El Pollo Loco. And before that, it was a Wendy's. When I was much younger, I would come here and get a double stack with just cheese. I don't eat beef anymore though. If I forgot to wear deodorant, my armpits would smell like a Biggie Fry. According to Dave Thomas, their square shaped beef patties were symbolic of the fact that they don't cut corners. Plus, the meat hangs off the edge of the bun. People like that.

Nice place, friendly service. Food was just mehh. The "Mexican" rice was a little weird. It had an odd pink color. The fries were bland middle school cafeteria style fries. The upside to this place is that they serve Halal for those who have that dietary restriction.

2nd time going here and I'm going to let the picture speak for it's self. I told the cashier 2 Birria Tacos for dine in and this is what I got. First of charging $6.49 without any toppings is ridiculous. Like No cheese??? If you want cheese you have to pay close to $7 for a taco. Other places are cheaper by a margin. The Birria tacos weren't even authentic. They just said let put one tortilla on the stove and put meat, onion and cilantro and roll it and serve it to the customer like what the hell man? There Torta was good. Honestly there prices are a bit expensive and aren't Justified.

Great food overall—slightly spicy for me, but I couldn’t stop eating it. The smash burger was good, the gyro sandwich was solid, and the birria taco was both great and filling. I especially loved the beef fries; they must use some kind of chili or spice in the meat that adds a nice kick without being overwhelming. The music and decorations were a bit all over the place, but the quirkiness worked for me. I’d definitely recommend this spot if you’re into good fast food with a little heat and quick service.

We were excited to try this new spot that recently opened in Hanover Park, but our experience fell a bit short of expectations. We ordered the mango-habanero wings, a single smash burger, beef nachos, and an 8” cheesesteak. The nachos were just okay. They were made with Tostitos chips and topped with ground beef that lacked flavor—more like crumbled smash-burger patties than seasoned taco meat. There were plenty of chips but not nearly enough meat to match. The cheesesteak was also average. The steak pieces were cut too thick for a traditional Philly, which threw off the overall balance and made it less enjoyable. The wings were the biggest disappointment. They had more breading than meat, making it hard to taste the chicken beneath. The mango-habanero sauce itself was fine, but the texture of the wings overshadowed it.On a positive note, the atmosphere was clean and inviting, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. With some adjustments to the food, this spot has potential, but for now, it left us wanting more.

The smash burger was good but we were severely disappointed in the loaded beef fries. They are pictures to have fresh cheese, beef and toppings, we were served fries with a canned cheese sauce and beef, looked sloppy and unappetizing. There was weird stringy seasoning in the fries. Definitely was finessed out of money since it was not cheap. Won’t be coming back.

This was my second time getting food from here. The first time we went the food was okay nothing good. We had the tacos and wings plus fries. Their fries were so stale and soggy and tasted bad. They were not even hot and seemed like they were old. The other item i ordered was still hot so I’m not sure how one item was warm while other was not. When I called to ask about it the girl was being very rude and deflected everything I was mentioning. The restaurant needs to train their employees and staff about customer service and own up to these mistakes. I frequently get take outs and never had such bad food. I have had so many other people have similar experience. So please if you are reading this keep scrolling through the list of other places around and you’ll thank me later.I would not recommend going there.

Absolutely blessed to have this restaurant open near me. Food is always freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. Wonderful decor, and I'm always greeted with a smile by staff when I walk in. The girl who works there goes above and beyond with flawless service (and not just her, but all the staff there). I truly think other restaurants need to take notes on the hospitality and service here.I usually get the spicy fried chicken sandwich. Bread is always perfectly toasted, chicken is perfectly fried, not too greasy but still has a good crunch, and it all tastes fresh! This restaurant definitely ranks high on my tier-list in every category ❤️

October 31, 2025 (Halloween) - New business. Everything is a-la carte (no meal bundles) --4 stars for food because cannot give (.5) rating. Only gave a lower rating because my hot dog bun was stale. I understand that they have to be cautious about wasting food, as a new business or for any restaurant. That is why I gave an overall 5 Star rating. I hope that their being a new business is the only reason for the stale bun, and I will check in again. If it is a business practice of theirs to serve stale, old, reused, etc. food, such as when some fast food businesses and restaurants will reheat fries, serve stale bread in the table basket, etc., then I will lower my rating. The business is inviting. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The owners are welcoming and pleasant. Their decor is nostalgic. I enjoy the nostalgia and the colorful aesthetic of the interior. I sincerely wish this business well.

It was our first time visiting Pro’s Chicago for dinner, and everything was extremely hot except fries. The dishes were much hotter than expected, and they really shouldn’t be this hot. The spice level should be optional so customers can choose how spicy they want their food. We would appreciate it if this could be adjusted in the future.

I went here with my husband a few weeks ago and had the nachos and a chicken wrap. The nachos were okay nothing great, basic canned cheese sauce, tostito chips, and meat that lacked real flavor but it was a generous portion and did the job.The chicken wrap was a joke. It tasted okay, sauce was fine. But the quantity of chicken is A JOKE. it was almost as thin as a PIECE OF PAPER AND HAD MORE BREADING THAN CHICKEN.Wouldn't go back.

New restaurant in town! Got it ordered for to go. We got Philly cheese steak, Philly chicken, double smash burger, fries and Italian beef sandwich. The food was all drenched in oil so it was super hard to take pics and hard to eat but I liked the taste of the Philly cheese steak and double smash burger. The Italian beef sandwich is new so I didn't personally like it and the flavoring of the meat but it's definitely something people can try. Glad it's a new restaurant in town that has halal burgers, tacos, and more.

My husband and I tried Chicago Pros for the first time this weekend since it opened. The atmosphere was great! Compared to what it was before the new owners, it’s a huge difference. I love the Chicago and Hispanic wall art that were on the walls and made it feel very comfortable. As for the food: I ordered the steak torta and let me say this was one of the best ones I’ve had. The bread, soft yet toasted. The steak was more asada style rather than typical breaded steak, but it was seasoned to perfection. They included everything that was standard to a torta without doing too much and it was so good, I’d get this again in a heartbeat!!! My husband ordered the fish and chips and he said it was probably one of the best he’s had. It was a good size order and included a seasoned breadstick. The fish itself was flaky and delicious and did not disappoint. The horchata was good, might be a bit overly sweet for my taste but good. The mojito was overly sweetened and tasted like a lot of the syrup used. We watered it down and that helped and it was great!Would recommend and definitely returning.

Did a search of "Halal near me" in the 60173 and nothing jumped out at me. I'm not Muslim myself but do eat at Halal places (Ghareeb Nawaz @ Seeley & Devon since 1999 as my go-to place when I'm in the city). I expanded my search and your place came up in the results. A few hundred reviews with good ratings so my co-worker, who is Muslim, and I decided to try it out for lunch. Was very surprised at the reasonable prices for the quality I got. The double smash burger was super tasty and I'd liken it to a double Butter Burger from Culvers but your burger bun was way more fluffy and appealing. Burger wasn't over season so I could taste the beef.My co-worker got a hotdog + fries and totally scarffed it down. She said it was amazing.Place was clean, tidy and friendly. We'll be back for sure.

I’m really disappointed with my order. I paid around $12 for the chicken loaded fries, and the portion was ridiculously small. There was barely any chicken, and it honestly looked like a side dish instead of a full meal. For that price, I expected something more filling and worth the money. Definitely not coming back here again unless they fix their portion sizes — total waste of money. Go to Palooza next door

I've been paying attention to this spot for a while now as it was getting ready to open. Upon receiving a promo flyer for this place at the mosque, I was actually kinda excited to try it. So tonight, we decided to dine here: a double smash burger, the fish & chips, and some beef loaded fries. And honestly? What an absolute disappointment. For one thing, $16 for the fish n' chips, only to be met with four bland, flimsy, greasy pieces of pollock and some soggy fries, is offensive. To add insult to injury, the flyer advertised that it came with coleslaw. We did not receive any. The beef loaded fries were equally as depressing. More soggy fries with some plain ground beef and gluey cheese tossed on top. The smash burger was decent for the price, but nothing to write home about. Easily the best part of this experience was the free ice cream we got.Shortly after this review, I called this shop to complain about the lack of coleslaw. They insisted that they never had coleslaw until we told them to check the flyer. At that point, they decided to claim that they "forgot to remove it" from the flyer. No apologies. No compensation.Initially, I lamented the current state of this shop but ultimately attributed it to growing pains here. After that call, however, I no longer hold this opinion. With service this sloppy, food this mediocre and advertising this deceptive, this restaurant is doomed to fail. You will not be missed, Chicago Amateurs.

Stopping by, on a neighbor's recommendation, we found Chicago Pros' interior to be functional, clean & nicely decorated.Entrance to their lot, directly, from the North, West & East can be a bit tricky, as they are located on the SE corner of a major intersection. However, if you enter the Harbor Freight parking lot, you can easily find your way into the back of Chi-Pro's lot.Inside, you place your order at the counter and wait for your # to be called. There are no self-serve/fountain drinks available; beverages are either cans/bottles, or made behind the counter. Condiments/plastic utensils are provided and there are napkin dispensers on each table. The staff was very polite, professional and efficient. The fare is a mix of SmashBurgers/Sandwiches, Wings and Mexican entrees - but with everything made-to-order.While that means you'll wait 5-10 minutes for your "fast" food, it's definitely worth it!Our Cheese Fries arrived, hot & perfectly cooked from the deep fryer and covered with cheese. Likewise, our Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and Smash Burgers were hot, fresh, and very generously proportioned.Prices are not cheap. However, as mentioned, the portions are very large and the food is all freshly prepared which, in my opinion, is well worth a few extra dollars.Make the effort, give 'em a try and I think you'll agree.

Terrible experience. The food was bland, poorly prepared, and definitely not worth the price. Portions were small, service was slow, and everything felt overpriced for what we got. There are so many better places to eat—I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I’m sharing my honest experience, which I’m fully entitled to do. Just because some customers like your food doesn’t mean everyone will. I had a genuinely disappointing experience Not every review is going to be glowing, and as a business owner, you should be open to criticism if you actually want to improve some of the reviews on here seem way too good to be true—looks like they might be from people you know.

We walked in and ordered there. Figured it would take some time to make a burger, some wings and 2 side of fries. Waited 40 minutes for my food. After going to go ask how long on our food the cook told the cashier they had already handed that order. Cashier NEVER said sorry! We asked for our money back and she ignored us. Finally after 40 minutes ordered at 8:15pm got the food at 8:55pm. I am very disappointed in the service. I know mistakes happen but at least an apology would have been nice!

The burrito is amazing. Best halal burrito in Chicago. The fish and chips in the other hand ..... Definitely not freshly made. Very generic and salty. Overall I'm satisfied. But I would request the owners to trim down the menu to only items that they make in house. The fish and chips where a huge letdown.Edit: 4 to 5 stars.I tried the new recipe for the fish and chips. The salt was much tamer and the flavor was great! I noticed that it was much less oily than other fish and chips I've had so that's great! ⭐

The food here is incredible and is really well priced. For about $40 we got a huge thing of nachos, a chicken quesadilla, and a cheese steak sandwich. Probably the best cheesesteak sandwich I've ever had. The quesadillas was excellent as well. Even the take out containers are quality and they even come with compostable silverware. The vibe inside when we went for the first time today wasn't super trendy but wasn't like a random mom and pop. It's somewhere in between. The food is way better than the atmosphere would lead you to believe it would be. We will definitely be back as this place will become a new staple for us in the area. Good food, good prices, and good amount food. Don't sleep on this place.

I have to admit, my experience is just like a strawberry milkshake (which I ordered here): sweet, wonderful, beautiful, radiant, and magnificent. First things first, this is a real review. I don’t know the owner or am I being paid to write a good review. There’s been a pleather of halal burger or chicken joints popping up in Chicagoland with ridiculous fake reviews not living up to expectations. I almost lost hope on these burger places until I came here.I’ve ordered almost everything so far on the menu. The best items are the burgers and Philly chicken or beef steak. It’s gourmet restaurant quality. Real fresh veggies and condiments on your sandwich. The Mexican food is good too, very fresh and flavorful. Everything is reasonably priced. Give this place a try, you’ll love it.

My husband had the Philly cheesesteak along with the buffalo wings and an order of French fries. Everything was absolutely delicious. The steak was so tender and so flavorful. The onions and peppers were cooked perfectly on a toasted bun. The wings had just a little bit of bite to them, but not too spicy. They had a wonderful buffalo tang to them, and they were big wings, lots of meat on them. I had the double smashburger and added beef bacon and cheese, this burger was so juicy and not greasy at all, the burger sauce/aioli was so good that next time I will order extra for my fries! The burger did not disappoint, and I will 100% be getting it again. It is huge and you can easily get two meals out of it or share with someone. I also had the beef and cheese loaded fries which are just as they sound, their seasoned French fries with ground beef and cheese on them. The fries are amazing! They kind of remind me a little bit of a checkers or Rally's fries, but even better. And when you add the ground beef and cheese on them, chefs kiss! It just took those fries up extra step and made them absolutely out of this work good. I have a feeling this is going to be a go to spot for my husband and me, when we want a good burger!!

A Must Try New Halal Spot in Town!My husband and I recently visited Chicago Pros Restaurant, a brand-new halal street food restaurant that just opened a few days ago and wow, we were so impressed! We left full, happy, and completely satisfied. As an artist, I especially appreciated the decor, it truly took the whole experience to another level. It’s artistic, unique, and full of energy. You could easily sit there all day just soaking in the design and the happy vibes. It perfectly captures that street food atmosphere but with a stylish twist. What really tied it all together was the outstanding customer service. The owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
